Premco synthetic fiber is a high-performance polymer fiber used as structural reinforcement in concrete and shotcrete.

The Premco reinforcement system works by distributing hundreds of thousands of high-strength fibers throughout the entire volume of the concrete mix. They reinforce every part of the concrete structure, increasing its flexural strength.

Premco fibers increase the impact resistance of concrete by absorbing the energy of destruction.

Advantages

The dosage rate will change based on the needs for equal tensile strength and bending resistance as well as the requirements for concrete reinforcement. For Syntecfiber, a dosage range of 2 to 6 kg/m3 is advised. Premco Syntecfiber is a safe and user-friendly substitute for steel shrink mesh, metal fibre, or traditional steel bars when applied in the recommended dosage. It is resistant to both rust and alkali.

Uses

Before concrete is applied, Premco Syntecfiber structural macro fibres can be added at any moment to the concrete mix. When batching, it is typically advised to add any fibre material to the batching plant. Depending on the type of mixer, fibres must be mixed with concrete for a minimum of three (3) to five (5) minutes at maximum speed to guarantee proper dispersion and uniformity. Regardless of the addition of fibre, add other admixtures. Every additive is compatible with Premco synthetic macrofibre.
